The Discord feel. Matrix privacy.

A free, open-source messenger with the layout you already love. Every chat is end-to-end encrypted, and it talks to Element and every other Matrix app.

Get Vibe View on GitHub

Every chat is end-to-end encrypted. Your server only ever stores scrambled data.

Most Matrix apps keep one message key for 100 messages or a week.

Vibe swaps it every 10 messages, or every hour.

So a leaked key unlocks almost nothing. We call it Strict encryption.

Feels like Discord.
Works like Matrix.

Home: a rail of chats on the left, direct messages in the middle
Your people, in a rail. Chats on the left, messages in the middle, just like the app you already know.
A chat with a music card and the strict encryption shield
Messages without bubbles. Replies, reactions, rich link cards and a shield when strict encryption is on.
Start something: chat, group or community
Start something. A chat, a group or a whole community with channels. Or join one with an invite link.
Edit profile with a listening-to status
A status that's alive. Say what you're up to, or let it show the song you're playing.
The strict encryption introduction
Privacy, explained plainly. No jargon. Every protection says what it does and who can turn it on.

Music

Share a song.
Get a card, not a link.

Spotify, YouTube Music, Apple Music, JioSaavn, SoundCloud and more turn into a player card. And your status can show what you're listening to, from music apps only. Never videos, films or ads.

Hot words

hahaha

Some words fill the screen when they arrive: laughter, good night, happy birthday, congrats and more. Send two at once and the scenes merge into one.

good night
good morning
love you
